LED Technology – Lighting And Display Patents

A landscape study is done for patents addressing various facets of LED technology. Emphasis is given to the patents pertaining to LED lighting and display. The LED lighting patents are divided based on key application areas and sub-technologies. An assignment search is conducted for LED and LED lighting patents to identify the key companies involved in transacting patents. An analysis is performed on patent acquisition trends of select companies, to understand the strategy adopted for portfolio aggregation.
